…responsible parents have a good friend!
Well, the haters of the anti-christian, anti-homeschool, anti-education (The real kind of education, not the schlock kids get stuffed into their brains these days, in most Public “Schools”) ilk are out in full force and up in arms because Carol Goodman, a Post Falls School District Trustee, has dared to support the notion that parents who don’t want to waste their money on faux education and want to, instead, let their tax money go to the real kind of education that they are increasingly finding in private school choices, take their money with them!
Oh, the horror! By the way, Pravda on the Lake, no way is it “unconstitutional” – Public Schools are still going to be around and they will still be serving, for free, those students who’s parents choose to send them there! (Ever notice how expensive “free” stuff is?)
We don’t know who’s words these are, but our non-news, local “news paper” says, this about Goodman’s thoughts: “lets the family’s tax dollars follow the child. In other words, that child would get whatever was allocated per student within the state and if you were going to send your child to a parochial school or a private school, that money could go toward tuition.”
If those are the words or thoughts of Carol Goodman then all we can say is “You Go Girl!” We need more Carol Goodman’s in the world.
If I was a real human being, I’d give Carol Goodman a great big hug!
