Or, “Sheriff Rick” serves up a heapin’ helpin’ O’ waffle!
For those of you who think Rick Whitehead is a good alternative vote for Sheriff, let’s compare the “Two Texans” on their “Pro-Life” stance:
John Green – “Human Life begins at conception. From the moment of fertilization, a new, unique, human being exists who is endowed by God with the full panoply of unalienable Rights, most notably the Right to Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. Without regard for the circumstances of their conception, tragic as they may be, we owe preborn children the full protection of law to ensure they are not murdered in their mother’s wombs. Justice demands that abortion be fully criminalized immediately!”
Rick Whitehead – “I am Pro-Life. However, I do not believe a young woman that is a victim of incest or rape should be forced to live with the consequences of a violent act forced upon her. I believe defining line as designated in “Heartbeat” bills is an appropriate.”
As usual, Whitehead waffles. He’s a “Pro-Life” with a caveat kind of guy. What else does he waffle on? (It depends on who he is talking to!)
As usual, Green stands on principle and we’ve never heard him deviate from his position on human life. (Or anything else, for that matter)
It looks like we are most likely not going to get a “Constitutional Sheriff” this year. We’re writing in John Green for Sheriff…purely for principle!
