An open letter to Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry d/b/a/ Idaho Prosperity Fund…
Dear Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry,
We received your schlocky political mailer today encouraging us to vote for “Republican Ed Morse”. Our first thought was, who vets your political candidates? Mr. Potato Head???? Our second thought was – What have you been smoking…Psychedelic French Fries????
A few things we hope will correct your wacky thinking:
- Ed Morse is Not Conservative. Because he does not support Smaller Government, Lower Taxes and Individual Responsibility. Why didn’t he complete the IFF Candidate Survey, if he’s so conservative?
- He does not “Lead with Integrity”; one of the first bills he proposed was one that could have directly benefited him personally as a Land Appraiser. He didn’t disclose his conflict of interest….Integrity my horse mule!
- “Defending our Freedoms”???? What a joke…He scored a -53 on the Idaho Freedom Foundation Freedom Index!!!
- “Encouraging Economic Growth”???? Name one thing he has done that would even have the potential to encourage economic growth? Nothing…we didn’t think so!
So, please, stick to helping farmers grow potatoes and keep you nose out of our North Idaho political business.
By the way, “Prosperity” for whom, exactly?
In Liberty,
Chester Jester
CC: Hasbro Toys….Please come to Idaho and collect Mr. Potato Head before he endorses Luke Malek!
Chester … Interesting points. Just out of curiosity, I was reading the IACI website and it says,
“IACI supports affordable, quality health care through innovation, choice and competition in the marketplace. IACI supports reasonable ways to increase the availability of health care coverage and reduced costs for both employers and employees while minimizing mandates, complexity and litigation. IACI supports the creation of a health insurance exchange.”
So it seems like Ed Morse is their guy. Doesn’t seem to be a whole lot that is conservative about IACI.
[Note From Chester: BANG…That’s the hammer hitting the nail on the head…Thanks!]
“Bang–that’s the hammer hitting the nail” — that’s funny Chester!
But will someone please tell me how “Obama Ed” represents the SECOND LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT in any way humanly possible? I mean, this is Hayden, Spirit Lake, and Athol that we are talking about. How on earth can anyone make the argument that this is THE guy who represents the values of this area?
Jeremy Morris
[Note from Chester: We think it was a total fluke that he got in. If Ron Sneezl-meyer had not run against his “friend” Phil Hart, Phil would have been re-elected. We expect a different result this election since people have had enough of Ed “What Ethics” Morse and Eric Redman is becoming quite a good campaigner.)
News of the IACI endorsement made me think of this cartoon my daughter was watching the other day. The first 3 minutes are relevant.
