…Let’s all catch our breath first…Ommmmmm, Ommmmmm, Ommmmmm…there that’s better!
Dear Ronnie,
Do you mind if we call you that? Ron is a bit too mature and Ronald, well we just can’t bring ourselves to call you that!
So, Ronnie – you poor delusional boy – we wanted to set you straight on a few things you seem very confused about. We heard you were sad and that you were trying your best to console your, ever so inconsolable, friends who used to be called the Reagan Republicans, but now, sadly, are left with no name. They are the group with no name…or the nameless ones…but we’ll just call them the “Other Guys”.
Ronnie, you really must understand it’s finished…the name is gone…turn out the lights the party is over…and all that.
First, you have no name to steal. The name, Kootenai County Reagan Republicans, belongs to the group that sought and received approval from the State of Idaho to use it. Wish as you may, you just can’t change that. Woulda, coulda, shoulda, and all, you needed only to follow the law and file for an assumed name with the Secretary of State, or incorporate, or file a Political Committeeor, something, anything! Why didn’t you? I know it is discouraging to realize that someone gave the Other Guys some really bad advice, but bad advice it was! We, know…we, know, you were just a friendly bunch that sat around endorsing candidates…who sad that humanity will not have the benefit of your “picks”…NOT!
In regard to your “trademark”, is that the advice your “competent” legal counsel gave you? Ronnie, you cannot trademark a picture of Ronald Reagan, the shape of the State of Idaho and a flag covered Republican elephant, no matter how creatively you arrange them. So tell your “competent” legal counsel to take it up with the State of Idaho and the Patent & Trademark Office, cause you ain’t got squat!
Now, we noticed you giving folks advice to “continue to use the Reagan Republicans names, trademarks…” Dude, what are you smoking in that snorkel? We noticed you didn’t say you were going to continue to use the name, but you are telling others to use it. Nothing like doing a header into an empty pool!
Dirty tricks aside, you and your Strategery buddy have besmirched the memory of Ronald Reagan for long enough! “Lying, cheating and stealing”, oh my…the facts will be out soon and we’ll see what you have to say then.
Until then…don’t forget Sunshine Reports are due tomorrow! We’ll be looking for yours cause…conspiring minds want to know!
Your Pal,
Chester
P.S. Oh, by the way…
What makes me scratch my head, isn’t just the actions of Jeff and Ron. But are the self-loathing, bootlicker groupies they’ve surrounded themselves with, always begging for more abuse (thank you sir, may I have another!). Lulled by the twin pied-pipers, their followers could care less about pesky little things like registration with the state or filing the proper paperwork, they just want more of the same fodder they’ve been shoveled. Their cries remind me of the lyrics from the Fleetwood Mac song ‘Little Lies’.
“If I could turn the page, in time then I’d rearrange just a day or two.
~Close my, close my, close my eyes~
But I couldn’t find a way, so I’ll settle for one day to believe in you
~Tell me, tell me, tell me lies~
Tell Me Lies, tell me sweet little lies
~Tell Me Lies, Tell me tell me lies~
Oh no no, you can’t disguise
~You can’t disguise, no you can’t disguise~
Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies…..”
Wake up people, step away from the psychotropic filth they’ve been feeding you. Ron and Jeff are concerned about the future of this country, only as deep as your pockets extend. Follow the money.
I have to say, I’ve been deeply disappointed in Dave Oliveria’s “reporting” as of late on the Huckleberries blog. I used to be able to say that while I don’t trust reporters to be unbiased, for an obvious liberal-leaning commentator, he managed to keep his blogging somewhat neutral. But over the last year he’s gone off the deep end, especially over the past couple of months. And today he’s just ramped it up further.
In addition to his newfound affinity for Lahr’s group, and his more-than-vocal support for the anti-recall group, DFO has taken to doing anti-endorsements of candidates while commenters encourage Democrats to vote in the Republican primary. What really tipped me over the edge in finally thinking that DFO has departed from any sense of neutral reporting was his post today, stating of one Jim Hollingsworth’s endorsements, “Remember, Jim and I don’t agree on much. So this list should be taken as one in which you should pick the other guy.”
It is now obvious to me that unfortunately, even though I’ve been defending him as a relatively neutral reporter for years, I think DFO has finally stepped firmly into the anti-conservative camp. It’s sad really, I respected the relatively neutral stance he took up to this point.
It appears that Ward and Lahr are whoring out endorsements like the luxette back in the day for band uniforms. They seem to have let their early success go to their heads and pocketbooks. Friends say their name is mud with the local business community. Why is that Ron?
Adonis you forget DFO is a blogger, he is NOT a journalist, has not been one since he took over the town gossip column/blog years ago. When you view him for what he is; he is a little more acceptable, (its on him if his efforts/work product spreads gossip, ill will, discord, and innuendo against others. Let a higher power deal with that) so do not be surprised, take him for what he is and drive on.
