Is The Republican Primary Primarily Republican?

We’re beginning to wonder if Ken De Vries is on to something!

What the heck, KCRCC!!!! Do you care anymore that you keep getting attached to Dumo-crats? Brooks? Filios? Whitehead? When will you put a stop to the madness?

In any event, we’ll be here to cover the fun. Primary Races we will be watching with interest this election cycle:

  1. Kootenai County Sheriff…everyone’s favorite!
  2. Kootenai County Commissioners…Bye-Bye to our Commie Commish and Filios. (Oh wait, they got in as pretend Repubs. Will they get to stay?)
  3. Legislative District 2 Seat B…Two already on-board Tim Kastening and Doug O.  (We wish it was going to be Green again, but the thought of a Constitutional Sheriff, makes us smile!_
  4. Senate District 3…Will Don Cheatham really call it quits? 
  5. Senate District 4…Who will the Dems get to try to unseat Mary Souza?
  6. Legislative District 4 Seat A…Who will the Dems get to try to unseat Jim Addis?

We hope Souza and Addis stay. They’re not uber conservatives but doing the best they can with such a liberal district. 

Predictions for the Sheriff’s Race…John Grimm will get so few votes that he’ll be sorry he ever teamed up with Larry “The Lounge Lizard” Spencer and he’ll wish his name was Tina. Whitehead will self-destruct once his real history comes to light. (Not the low hanging fruit Spencer is peddling, the real stuff) John Green will continue his tradition of running as a gentleman. We think it will be a close race between Green and Kim Edmondson, with Bob Norris being the spoiler for one or the other of them. Kim will want to run a clean campaign, but can she resist the urge to get muddy? Norris has much more polish and a much better actual resume than Whitehead. Will he keep it civil with Green? Time will tell. Funny that the Republicans have only one real Republican in the Sheriff’s race. Why are they not 100% on board with him?

We have been hearing rumors for a while now. Rumor’s no more! John Green announces for Sheriff of Kootenai County! Too bad for the Legislature, great for Kootenai County. We can finally get a Constitutional Sheriff!

announces his candidacy for

Kootenai County Sheriff

Rathdrum, Idaho-September 24, 2019 – Idaho State Representative John Green (R-District 2B), announces today that he is a candidate in the May 2020 Republican Primary Election for the Office of Kootenai County Sheriff.  

 Since his constituents elected him to the Idaho State legislature, John Green has distinguished himself as an advocate for Smaller Government, Lower Taxes and Individual Responsibility.  “I’ve kept my promise to my constituents and have a 100% record of voting in line with true Conservative Values,” Green said.  He also says that he will maintain the Republican Ideal of limited government, with unwavering adherence to the Constitution of Idaho and for The United States of America. 

“As a Peace Officer, the primary duty of the Sheriff is to protect the life, liberty, and property of ALL people within the jurisdictional limits of this County.  I have a professional resume spanning 42 years, that reflects my dedication to the Rule of Law and the protection of my fellow citizens.”  Green said.

John Green’s experience as an elected Idaho State legislator uniquely qualifies him for understanding the entire law-making process and how to administer the laws properly.  He says, “I have hands-on experience in every facet of Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement. My career began at the age of 18 when I attended the Police Academy and has continued for the past 42 years, every step of the way providing me with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the important public duty of County Sheriff.”

 John Green holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice (with Honors) from the University of Houston and a Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from South Texas College of Law – Houston.  He has lived on property owned near Rathdrum, Idaho for 11 years with his wife of 40 years, Elizabeth.  They have 4 children and 10 grandchildren, 2 dogs, 2 cats and a yard full of chickens.

Questions first, we’re putting our own “In Person” story together on LL, (Lounge Lizard as we’ll refer to him from now on)

  1. Why does LL hate John Green?
  2. Why does LL think John Grimm is qualified to be the Sheriff of Kootenai County?
  3. Does LL think Kootenai County voters are stupid? Well yes, he does and here’s how stupid he thinks you are: John Grimm looks close to John Green, Grimm “Branding” is Green, Grimm has “borrowed” all of John Green’s prior campaign issues. (The other guys too, but that’s for another day) and Sheriff Mack for the win! (NOT)
  4. Where are LL’s children? Are they happy and healthy? Is he a meaningful part of their lives?
  5. Exactly where does LL live?
  6. What does LL do for a living?
  7. Why is LL in a panic now that John Green has entered the Sheriff’s Race?
