If you missed The Lincoln Day fete at the C’dA Resort, you missed the event of the year!
Packed house…mainstream Republicans all… gave Sheriff Mack waves of enthusiastic applause and a standing ovation! So much for division! Sheriff Mack is a great man, a patriotic American and a hero of the Constitution!
Congressman Raul Labrador was the warm up act and he gave a rousing plea for unity that was met by cheers and applause followed by a big standing O! His closing was a message of hope as he reminded us that when the dust clears America and the Conservative cause will still be standing! (Woop, woop, woop, fist pumps…and all that!)
So to you “Reagan Republicans”, “Pachyderm Clubbers” and “Reasonable Republicans”…here’s a BIG FAT RASPBERRY…. (so much for Republican unity you hypocrites…yes we’re talking to you Uncle Jeff, Ron Liar, Matt Rotter and Doo-ane!)
Kudos to Tina Jacobson, Lorri Erickson John & Angela Cross and all the hard working Real Republicans that pulled off this amazing event. Mike Oliver did a great job as auctioneer. He even pulled 575 bucks out of John Green (with a little nudging from Phil Thompson) for a football! (donated by Keith Hutcheson no less!)
Note to Wolfinger…you, above all people should have stayed to listen to Sheriff Mack. He would have given you a valuable lecture on why the KCSO is not a “para-military” organization. Leaving before his speech was just plain rude! THE CONSTITUTION RULES and RINO’s DROOL! (Was that a donkey tail we saw dragging behind you as you left?)
Thank you Sheriff Mack! Thank you Congressman Labrador! You helped make this event a huge success!
Further report and pictures coming soon….
Thanks Chuckles for all you are doing. I will second your raspberry and give a one digit salute to the haters. Even saw a couple of the Reagan Republican “yes” voters at the event. Are they starting to leave the Dark Side? It was a great event!!
My husband and I attended the Lincoln Day dinner, as we have for several years, and I enjoyed the evening. Congressman Labrador was a wonderful speaker, and Sheriff Mack was interesting too. Great ideas.
I found the room to be full of a variety of people, all of them warm and friendly. The split in the party along “sides” is upsetting to me. Can’t we just get over the petty personal problems?
I’m a member of Reagan Republicans, Republican Women and am an ongoing local activist for responsible government. I know people on both sides of the party split that I respect and admire. Can’t we please get over this? If anyone has been called terrible, horrible, awful, no-good, very bad names, it’s me. (that’s from a children’s book) And I’m living proof you can rise above it and move on. Please join me.
Our party has a lot of important work to do, let’s not focus on the small stuff, let’s find what we can all agree upon and move forward to help our city, county, state and country!
