TODD TONDEE!
Well, we’re as surprised as anyone, but we have to give kudos to the C’dAPress for doing what it is supposed to do…actually publishing some news for a change.
The story in todays Press “PAID NOT TO WORK”, about the payments to lawyer Kenneth D. Stone based on his settlement with Kootenai County and Prosecutor Barry McHugh, for wrongful termination is…well…darn good journalism! Dare we say it????…Keep up the good work Press!
Now, we just can’t help commenting on a couple of things…One…Can a governmental agency keep settlement details secret from the electorate???? Say it ain’t so! More reason not to trust our elected officials…gives new meaning to the term “Shadow Government.”
…and…Two…you know someone has been in office too long when they remove any doubt that they are merely a politician…as opposed to a public servant…when they unfurl a verbal gem like this Todd Tondee-ism…
“Technically, no he’s not on leave, but technically, yes.”
This was the purported response when Tondee was asked about the leave status of Kenneth Stone (who, it appears, is getting paid by somebody, to not work). Well…Todd…what is it…you signed the documents…is he working and getting paid…or…not working and getting paid?????
Conspiring minds want to know!!!!!!!
(Note: We’re not commenting on the merits of the Stone v. Kootenai County suit…maybe Stone was right, or maybe KC just wanted to cut their losses and settle…we don’t know, but we’ll keep digging…hopefully the Press will too!)
P.S. Tondee will be at the Post Falls American Legion this Saturday, April 12, 2014, from 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM for a Meet and Greet event featuring Republican Primary Candidates. The Post Falls American Legion is located at 1138 E Poleline Avenue, Post Falls. (Forget NIPAC…come meet real Republicans and ask Todd to do some splainin bout what’s really going on!!!!
