Ok, so even when you give them the whole story the Press is gonna screw it up!
Apparently they thought only part of the story was important…but….
NWPOA Board Member Jennifer Locke (Conservative Whirlwind and one of our favorite Baby Wranglers!) sets the record, and the Press, straight!
NWPOA’s press release was edited somewhat and words were also added too. Here is the full release:

North West Property Owners Alliance Board of Directors Statement & Candidate Evaluations May 1, 2014
It is the goal of the NWPOA Board of Directors to keep our membership and local citizens informed on issues important to property and privacy rights. Candidate evaluations were done using the criteria set forth in the NWPOA Mission Statement. The complete Mission Statement and areas of concern can be viewed on the www.nwpoa.org website.
The NWPOA Board and Election Committee collectively spent hundreds of hours researching and examining candidates for the upcoming May 20, Primary Election. Some candidates participated by completing a one-hour NWPOA candidate survey and submitting a one-page bio and resume to aid in the rating effort. In addition, we reviewed candidate websites, news articles, member input, candidate interviews, public forums, and voting records, all of which were taken into account.
NWPOA was formed in an effort to combat the trampling of our property and privacy rights by elected officials. From our inception, we understood that it was critical for NWPOA to involve itself in the election process. At the core of NWPOA’s purpose is the 4th Amendment, but equally important, is exercising the right to vote. Our hope is that all citizens will become more passionately involved with our government by going to the polls on May 20. Please consider NWPOA’s ratings (these are not endorsements), but also conduct your own research. Support the candidates that best represent the liberties and rights that we, as property owners, value so highly.
Thank you and please remember we are only as strong as our members and their willingness to be involved! GO VOTE!
Most respectfully,
The NWPOA Board of Directors – Jennifer Locke, Gary Mitchell, Carla Woempner, Jeff Tyler, and Kristi Cochrane
