Name Rustling And Other Heinous Crimes…

…according to a story in the Cd’A Press today, Ron Lahr of the “Other Guys”, looks at the notice from the Kootenai County Reagan Republicans as “identity theft”.

Well ain’t that rich!  The only identity theft that has been going on around here is the “theft” of the identity of Ronald Reagan!

So let’s get things straight Lahr:

You and Jeff Ward and Jeff Tyler start a group that you referred to as “Reagan Republicans”

You and your group do nothing…not one thing…to legally establish this group…you’d a thunk getting an assumed name certificate might have been in order, as a minimum. (Did you file a Treasurer designation before your group started raising money for (Yeah, right, like the money went to the candidates) and endorsing candidates Ron?…No? We didn’t think so!)

You and Jeff Ward start “The Strategery Group, Inc” and the funny thing is that you got all your candidates “endorsed” by your group you referred to as “Reagan Republicans”…where’s the Sunshine Report Ron?

Jeff Ward and Jeff Tyler…the one who was “endorsed” by the group you are “President” of, file two Treasurer designations the Ward/Tyler “Victory Fund” and the Tyler/Ward “Victory Fund-Municipal”. Those two groups took in gobs of money and the “candidates” they were created to help got a whopping $375 each! Wow, we bet that made the difference!

So here are a few more questions:

How many people actually belong to the group you used to refer to as “Reagan Republicans”?

How many people had a say in the “endorsements” you made?

How many of the candidates who you “endorsed” are Strategery clients?

Who’s bank account have you been putting the money you collect through? How did you collect money in the name of “Reagan Republicans” and put it through a bank account when you didn’t even bother to take the simple, legally required, step of obtaining an assumed name certificate?

Did Ron Lahr and Jeff Ward make any money from the funds switch-a-roo’d in the various “entities” that we’ve talked about?  Somebody better have shown some of this money on a tax return because the “Other Guys” were not a 501(c)(4) tax exempt organization as they purport on their web site!  Hmmmm, “Excess Benefit” comes to mind! (Exactly how much money was donated to “KCRR” that ended up in Strategery Group, Inc.?

What’s in a name? “Reagan Republicans”, “Reagan Republican Victory Fund”, “Reagan Republican Victory Fund – Municipal”, Ron Lahr, Jeff Ward, Jeff Tyler, The Strategery Group, Inc., …put them in a box…shake em up and dump em out…doesn’t pass the smell test to us!

Thankfully, someone had the good sense to take the necessary legal steps to rescue the name of Ronald Reagan from a group of pretenders!

Identity theft Ron? So that’s your strategery? (You guys are so tongue in cheek…NOT) When the heat is on and the light shines…point the finger?

Stay tuned Chuckle Fans…thrills around every corner!

P.S. Any “journalists” out there going to ask any real questions, or do we have to carry all the weight around here?

P.S.S. Someone give Scott Poorman and his client Cliff Noll a medal for having the courage to take on and expose this!

  1. Me thinks the old RR should change their name to The He-man Conservative Hating Club. It’d be a closer fit than the moniker those silly progressives have tried to hide under the past few years.

Sound’s like a storm is brewing in town this weekend.

  2. I would like to be present for the perp walk! It will be their time in the spotlight…..
