Every once in a bit the Chuckleberries Team gets an email, or comment that warms our heart. Today, was one of those days.
On a recent post concerning the possibility of leaks from internal KCRCC chats, we found this comment left by Precinct 4 committeeman Michael Jehnichen. We’ve also approved the comment on that post.
“During our May 13th meeting, Phil called out “Mr. Chairman, personal point of information”. He was recognized and stood tall. He said something to the effect “A recent Chuckleberries article was forwarded to me which stated that I was demeaning towards Terri during her Straw Poll discussion. I laughed at it at article but after reflecting on it I realized I was demeaning towards her.” Phil looked squarely at Terri and said “I truly apologize for that, you are an extremely hard working and passionate committee member. I am sorry.” The room erupted in applause, many members standing. Terri got up and gave Phil a hug. It was good.
I commend Phil for “manning up”. He is a proud man and to admit he was wrong, I am sure, was not an easy thing for him to do. Had Chuckleberries not published the account, this healing would like not have taken place.
Thank you Chuckleberries.”
Thank you to Phil
This was the first we’ve heard of Phil’s apology. Our team has always liked Phil, and think he’s a great asset to the KCRCC. In these trying times, unity on the committee is sorely needed. Thank you for setting a wonderful example. Our hats are off, and our glasses raised to you. Job well done.
Mike, you are welcome sir. We’ve been telling everyone we know in your precinct to vote for you. Keep up the great work, we really hope you make it back onto the committee.
