This is just a quick take on the crazy events of today in our beloved State of Idaho. The Chuckle Berries Team will be working on an official statement. For now just a few bullet points and a brief synopsis to get the creative juices flowing.
- The state has decided what businesses can stay open in section 8. The governor fully acknowledged the financial impact will likely close some businesses.
- Religious assembly outside a family worshiping in their home is banned in section 6.
- Weddings are banned as well in section 6. Funerals are permitted as long as 6 ft social distancing and hand washing in section 8(j) is followed…which seems near impossible to obtain.
- Travel is banned in section 7 with the exception of what is deemed essential travel or activities.
- Outdoor activities are okay as long as you maintain a 6 ft distance to the next person. Based off the verbiage we assume a walk is okay, but can people drive to hike a trail somewhere?
Brief Take Away
The State has deemed that it is good for people to work for what they consider essential businesses. But going to church is forbidden. And forget celebrating Good Friday or the Resurrection…. They expect us to be busy worker bees, but not have freedom of religion as granted to us in the US Constitution. Any weddings that were planned are now cancelled…go have your special day some other time. If you lost money on your wedding, the State doesn’t care, you must comply!!!
We’re sure some will laud the Governor and Health and Welfare with phrase over this decision. But the numerous stores that carry essential items will remain open, and people can go as they please. This shut down isn’t about stopping COV-19 as much as it’s about control, and seeing how far they can push the populace. COV-19 will still be spread. This is nothing more than a Communist styled move to dictate what the State wants you to do. They control who works and doesn’t, and have stripped us of our God given rights of corporate worship, marriage, and free travel. If you break the rules, you face up to 6 months in jail and up to a $1,000 fine. Yes, it’s stupid.
This isn’t sitting well with the Chuckle Berries team. We’ll get our response 
written up as quick as we can and posted. For now, please stay safe and take what precautions are necessary to protect and provide for your family.
